Neighborhood Guide
Jupiter
A relaxed beach town at the northern end of Palm Beach County — excellent schools, a serious boating culture, and a quality of life that keeps people here for decades.
Overview
The northernmost coastal town Pat covers — and one of the best.
Jupiter has a feel that's hard to find elsewhere in South Florida — unhurried, outdoors-oriented, and community-driven without feeling suburban. The Loxahatchee River, the Jupiter Inlet, and miles of natural coastline make it a magnet for boaters, divers, and anyone who wants to spend most of their time outside.
The school system is consistently one of the strongest in the state, which drives steady demand from families relocating from the northeast. Prices have risen significantly over the last five years but remain below comparable waterfront communities in Palm Beach or Boca.
Schools
Strong public schools throughout.
Attractions
On the water and in the wild.
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse
One of Florida's oldest and most photographed landmarks — a working lighthouse with tours, a small museum, and sweeping views over the inlet and Atlantic. Worth the climb.
Carlin Park & Jupiter Beach
Miles of uncrowded beach, a public park with tennis, pickleball, and a bandshell. The go-to spot for Jupiter families on weekends.
Jonathan Dickinson State Park
Florida's largest state park south of Ocala — river tours by boat, kayak rentals, camping, and hiking through scrub and mangrove. About 20 minutes north of town.
Jupiter Inlet
One of the best sport fishing inlets on the East Coast. Mahi, sailfish, tuna, and snook — the inlet drives serious fishing culture and supports a thriving charter industry.
PGA National Resort
Just south in Palm Beach Gardens — five championship courses including the famous Bear Trap stretch on The Champion course, host of the Honda Classic.
Loxahatchee River
Florida's first federally designated Wild and Scenic River. Kayaking, paddleboarding, and manatee sightings are common. A natural treasure in Jupiter's backyard.
Neighborhoods
Where buyers are looking.
Admirals Cove
Jupiter's premier gated boating community — deep-water docks, golf, tennis, and a full marina. Resales here move quickly when priced right.
Abacoa
A planned town-center community with walkability, townhomes, single-family homes, and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Popular with young families and first-time buyers.
Jupiter Farms
Rural acreage properties west of town — horses allowed, large lots, and a tight-knit community. A very different Jupiter, priced accordingly.
Rialto / The Shores
Newer construction single-family communities with good schools, HOA amenities, and strong resale demand from northeast relocators.
Dining & Lifestyle
Where locals eat.
Guanabanas
A tiki-style waterfront restaurant on the Loxahatchee River — fresh seafood, live music every night, and the kind of Florida atmosphere that out-of-towners remember for years.
Jetty's Waterfront Restaurant
Right on the inlet — casual, waterfront, and reliably good for fish sandwiches and cold drinks while watching the boats go by.
Double Roads Tavern
A Jupiter institution — cold beer, burgers, and an unpretentious crowd. The kind of bar that's been here forever and has no interest in changing.
